Demeyere Proline 7 Frying Pan 28cm

Ben recently moved and suddenly had to cook on electricity. Am a man alone and not a kitchen/cooking prince. I actually did everything in one (snack) pan. My old pans could no longer be used with the new induction hob I recently bought. With this new frying pan from Demeyere I now have a TOP quality pan, suitable for induction and other energy sources. I could have gone cheaper, but I thought, let's go for quality. It is certainly pricey, but it is a very nice frying pan. It is very heavy in weight, so if you happen to have something on your hands/wrists/arms that prevents you from lifting heavy, then this pan is not so suitable for you. I have no problem with it and even like the heavy weight because the pan now stands quite firmly on my hob. After using it for the first time, I already saw discoloration on the bottom after cleaning. I was not happy about that at first. But then I remembered that I had read on the internet that you should clean the pan with a scouring pad and some washing up liquid, when I did that again, those discolourations disappeared like snow in the sun and the pan looked as new as when I took it out of the box. The frying pan is just big enough to prepare a meal for 1 person. I actually don't like to cook, that's why I do everything in one pan, this frying pan is ideal for that. The price is firm, but then you also get a quality pan. I 'enjoy' even now when I use the thing, something I never expected from myself. I fried pork chops in it the way Demeyere recommended (see their website or Youtube). They were wonderfully tender and cooked. the pan was clean in no time. I don't put it in the dishwasher, although it says that it is allowed to. But that is not advised in Demeyere's films either. Oh, the pan is clean again in a sigh. I also baked ribeyes in it without using any fat. It was exciting for a while but it really works great if you use the right technique... see again Youtube etc. You can also fry eggs in it. Great right? Should have had it years ago.
