According to our ladder expert
With the Altrex All Round Reform Ladder 3x12, you get a multifunctional ladder for your home. The ladder profile in 'i' shape makes the ladder relatively light in weight, so you can easily move it and slide it in and out. You can use it both as an extension ladder against the facade and in an 'A' position. The maximum standing height is 6.45m, with which you can reach a working height of about 8.45m. You also work safely thanks to the stability bar, the safety hook with safety catch, and extra-deep D-shaped rungs with anti-slip. The Altrex All Round Reform Ladder is an excellent ladder for any job.

It takes a while to figure out how to set up the thing, but once you master gravity, you can go up and down without any problems. Ideal to get off the ground, with other words.

I read here that a number of people complained about the quality and construction of the ladder. Nonsense and whining I thought. When taking the first step, the blind rivet jumps off the security hook. Not necessarily necessary, but this makes the entire ladder no longer feel safe. The same pop rivets are used for the two hooks per segment on which the ladders rest. Just put in a new nail. The hook mentioned above now works better than the other original one. It is also quite crooked and I will also knock it off preventively and fix it properly (Altrex, are you still looking for qualified personnel?) The A position: climbing is experienced as too steep. Only suitable to be placed sideways along a wall, and that is just not recommended by Altrex's management. Only operate facing the ladder. The loops are completely unnecessary, because the steep construction will make things fold inwards rather than slide apart. A fixed construction would have been better. Oh fun fact, from the booklet: Warning, be careful not to get your foot caught in any of the A stance loops. -_- The stabilizer bar: the bar itself is fine, however... attached with plastic connecting elements??? Altrex, please... This is getting porous > the lazy dragons that we are, we really don't check this every time we have to take the fucking leaves out of the gutters for the tenth time, exhausted from life. Case of financial savings. And if you do get Mr. If you want to be El Cheapo, for heaven's sake, make sure that the elements also connect straight to the beam, and don't have a gaping gap of several millimeters, so that the weight rests completely on one side of the ladder. And then in the slide out position. Those who are seasick should not use this. What a wobble. The aluminum used has plenty of constructive properties to hold up my 120kg meat hunk, but breathing already causes a panic attack at a height of 7 meters. Safe, yes. Safe feeling? No.. and then there's the idea that a pop rivet could burst at any moment. I didn't want to climb on it anymore, but I HAD to do roof work. Customer service, despite insisting to send a new one and exchange it right at my house, could only offer to buy a new one first, and then have the old one picked up. It is understandable that people are stuck in corporate rules, but then immediately remove the slogan "everything for a smile". I did cry, cry!

I can now reach everything, there is no position to how far I can slide it out
