Devolo dLAN 1200+ WiFi 1,200Mbps 2 adapters

I already used a Devolo 200av because the WiFi signal on the second floor where my PC is located was too weak. The result was good but not spectacular (35mb per second). That's why I wanted to try the Devolo 1200+ with WiFi AC, then I would immediately have WiFi upstairs as well. And with success: I now achieve speeds of up to 80mbit per second, perfect for HD streaming. In other words: DLAN is getting better and better. In my enthusiasm I immediately suppressed the second WiFi network for Belgacom TV (with Ruckus) and replaced it with the old Devolo 200AV. Speed: around 120mb per second, so excellent and another device on the cabinet and less with the TV. In the meantime I have also replaced the Devolo with a 650+ and I get speeds of up to 210 mb per second between the Belgacom router and the TV. This is due to the plus in the type number, which indicates that the grounding of the power line is used, which makes higher speeds possible. Result: no more delays when zapping and no more stuttering with Apple TV when viewing images or streaming music via iTunes. Finally, installation is a piece of cake.

Bought to replace a less well-performing dLAN 500 AVplus set (caused by faults in the electrical circuit).

Didn't install it as "Clone" of my existing modem/router from my internet provider "Telenet", because I wanted to hide behind that of my existing provider modem/router with a separate Wifi circuit and with a separate password. Followed the manual for this, and really a piece of cake. Because of this choice, I had to enter the new access code on all my 4 devices (Mac laptop, I-phone, I-tablet and HP Wifi printer).
