Ipad Air with Airpad case not working

Fast delivery, right on time. iPad air without cover fits just fine. However, when the iPad Air is in its Smart Case (which is always the case, what else do you have such a thing for) the iPad no longer fits on the Ligtning Dock. This is despite the fact that the plug is adjustable in height. The problem is that the Ligtning plug itself is not adjustable in height. The foot where the plug is built-in goes up, but the length of the plug does not change, ergo, the iPad Air does go up, but the distance between lightning plug and "hole" in the iPad remains the same. Summary: For an iPad in a cover it is unusable, we broke it so but for the iPhone 5 (without cover)

Pay attention when you choose this product. I have an iPhone 5S in the Apple skin and an iPad Air in a Smart Case and because of the additional thickness at the bottom of the connector, you have to remove the iPhone and iPad Air from the cover every time. This is definitely not recommended for people who use a case.

I bought this device because it can serve as both a Dock for iPad and iPhone. This is correct, unfortunately not all devices with a cover fit in the dock. My iPhone 5S has an original Apple cover, but it cannot make contact with the plug. also the 5C with original cover does not fit I only use it for my iPad Mine, which fortunately does fit. I bought another dock for my iPhone.
