Fujitsu ScanSnap SV600

I bought the SV600 after a long search for a suitable A3 scanner for archiving. Once unpacked, the device does not take up much space, the black mat at the base is included. The first scans (not even in a darkened room) looked very good. Small print is easy to read, and even the pages of a photo book were copied without any problems. As far as I'm concerned, they look just as good on screen as the original. The fact that you don't have to constantly open and close the lid is very time-saving. Software for image editing and all kinds of corrections is included, which requires some study. But without any problem I was able to save all the leaves of the test series to a pdf document and that was my goal.

The ScanSnap does everything it promises for me. It works fast. Just a pity that the Mac software was not in the box. Spent hours downloading

When you have rolled out the black mat, you will see the markings within which the object to be scanned must lie. Maximum size A3! The software almost always recognizes what to do with the scan. The scanning itself takes a few seconds. Processing afterwards is also not difficult and goes quickly. Also books or magazines are easy to scan; the pages are automatically separated; any bulging of the book/magazine can be straightened out. In short: a special scanner that creates unexpected possibilities.
