Description

The Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM is a compact telephoto lens for your Canon SLR camera. The large aperture allows you to capture bright portrait or product photos with background blur with this lens. The super spectra coatings prevent bothering reflections and glares. While focusing, you can use the fast and silent autofocus motor. That way, you won't disturb your object. You can also switch to manual focusing. The front of the lens doesn't move while focusing. Thanks to this, you can use special filters like gradient or polarization filters.

Extremely light-sensitive, sharp, fast focus, beautiful bokeh (deep blur) and on my 500D almost telephoto (x1.6 = 136m): what more do you need for that price for concerts, performances, etc. without flash, still beautiful and from an acceptable establish distance. See the attached photos : the first with the lens and it "clicked" right away. Had ordered the lens in the evening and had it ready for the next day in the Coolblue store in Antwerp: fast service, no long waiting time and above all enough parking and quickly out of the city ....

Great lens from Canon

I have had this lens for a few days and have already tested a lot on my Canon Eos 500D. My intention was to purchase a lens to mainly do portrait photography. I can say that the results are amazing. The blurred background (bokeh) makes the photos professional. For this price you should certainly not look for an alternative brand. I can only confirm that what the other users here write in their reviews is correct. So far I am very satisfied.
