The image quality of the lens is outstanding, it gives you very sharp focus and very smooth and creamy bokeh.

Auto-focus is very fast and accurate, as a matter of fact, this lens focuses much faster than my kit lens that came with camera, and I would never call the kit a slugger. This one is just faster.
1.8 aperture allows you to make photos even in poor light conditions without using a flash and the need to go to high ISOs, keeping your noise level low.
Build quality is very good, the lens is made if plastic, so it's very light, but it's a high quality plastic, so it's also sturdy and should last for years.

In my eyes this lens has no cons. I might speculate about the leak of weather sealing, but since my camera is not weather sealed either, i will keep this complaint for another review.
