Description

The EufyCam S3 Pro Extension is an extra IP camera that you can add to your Eufy security system. You can only use this camera if you already have a HomeBase 3. In comparison to the EufyCam 3, this camera has a larger built-in solar panel. This means that the battery is fully charged with only 1 hour of direct sunlight, which is twice as fast. The camera records footage in razor-sharp 4K quality, and the night vision in color is better. This way, you can see exactly what's happening in low light. The footage is stored on the HomeBase 3, so you don't need an extra cloud subscription for this. Since the camera recognizes people, animals, and objects, you get fewer false notifications. For example, you don't get a motion notification when a bird flies by.

Nice solid cameras

  • Color image with low light
  • Can also be infrared
  • Many setting options
  • In no light you have to use the camera's lighting for color images, the disadvantage is more power consumption.

I have 2 cameras and they are very good. Even in low light still nice color image

More expensive but better.

Very good solid camera, clearly the pro version of the S330. Due to the radar function, the detection is at a greater distance. The s330 does something like 8 meters and this one about 12 meters, at least a lot further. For this reason I exchanged the s330 for the s3 pro. The price is quite steep, besides an extra snapshot function (a photo every 30 minutes) and therefore the radar, the difference with the S330 is not very big. The night vision would be better but because of all the outside lighting it is never very dark here and I did not see a clear difference. But both are good anyway. The price is steep. Fortunately, the mount is too. The camera is a lot heavier but the mount/hanging bracket is much better! Which means that the (still heavier) camera does not sink when held by hand.
