This prevents scratches when you place your phone on the table with the screen facing down or when you drop it. These edges run along all sides and also prevent scratches on your buttons. The case does have a cutout for your charging port.

In addition, it has a sleek and minimalist design, which makes it look stylish without distracting from the beautiful design of the phone itself. On the other hand, the back of the case is very smooth, which sometimes makes the grip on the phone a bit less.
