Description

With the Sony A7 IV + FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM, you can easily capture your trip. You receive a versatile 24-70mm zoom lens. You can use this to photograph landscapes, architecture and portraits. The A7 IV has a backlit 33-megapixel full-frame image sensor. This allows you to take clear photos and videos in low light. The fast autofocus system has 759 focus points and recognizes the eyes of humans and animals. Whey they move, it keeps them in focus. This way, you can easily take sharp photos. Thanks to the fast buffer, you take photos with 10 frames per second. If you photograph wild animals, you don't miss a single moment.

Lens

Thanks to the light-sensitive zoom lens, you can photograph many subjects. In the wide-angle mode, you take photos of architecture. If you zoom in to 70mm, you can use it for portraits. Thanks to the large aperture of f/2.8, you can even take sharp photos at dusk or during nightly walks. On the lens, there's a button to lock the focus. This allows you to easily photograph a subject from the same distance without finding the right focus first.

Image stabilization

Thanks to the 5-axis image stabilization of the A7 IV, you can photograph by hand for longer. It reduces motion blur up to 5.5 stops, so you can take sharper photos when you use slow shutter speeds. That's useful if you photograph in dark situations. In the Active mode, the camera stabilizes your recording even more and crops the image. You use this mode when you vlog or make action videos, for example.

Video

You can record sharp and smooth videos in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. In the Slow & Quick mode, you can record slow motion or sped-up footage. The camera edits the footage right away. If you slow down your footage later, you record in Full HD at 120 frames per second. Your footage has a larger dynamic range if you record in the 10-bit 4:2:2 S-CINETONE/S-LOG3 file format. You can then edit the lighting and colors more precisely. You can use the livestream function for razor-sharp streams on social media. That way, you can stream a Q&A for your followers.

What a beast of a camera this is, for both my photography and video work. Before this I had the Sony A7iii, which was already a great camera. This one has a better grip, higher megapixel sensor, and 10-bit video (this is what makes the difference for me). Keep them coming Sony!

Hybrid topper for the serious photo and videographer

I really needed an upgrade for video, while I still have a long way to go in photography. As far as photography is concerned, it is actually still an overkill for me at the moment to own a camera of this level. Still opted for a camera from this class and was deeply impressed from the first moment. As far as videography is concerned it does exactly what I want and need (without overheating and time limits but unfortunately with a crop at 4k50) and in the field of photography the possibilities to expand my knowledge and skills with this camera are almost unlimited. Because I switched from Canon to Sony, everything is actually new, but the ease of use is excellent. It is advisable to really go through all the settings, whether or not "accompanied" by a YouTube video of someone who explains it for you, so that you do not have to figure everything out yourself. I find it useful. Soon I will be going to the national parks in the US and I have no doubt that this full frame beast will give me much nicer shots (and videos anyway) than the devices that have come with me on previous trips. Thanks to this camera, I'm secretly looking forward to the upcoming trips even more.

Switched to the cinemaline after using it for a little over 1 year for mainly video. Nothing but praise for the image quality. Unfortunately less enthusiastic in the audio field. As soon as you plug in a headphone, the screen is extremely limited when tilting because the plug is in the way. The optional XLR unit regularly malfunctions (Accessory not supported). HDMI is also not always free of interference. After 1 year, the camera is returned to Sony because the headphone plug has stopped working. In short, do you occasionally make a video? That's fine. Are you going to use it for serious filming? Then choose something from the cinema line.
