Description

With the BLACK+DECKER BES700-QS, you can saw all kinds of wood for your new closet, banister, or laminate floor. You can do this up to 305mm wide and 62mm deep. But you can also saw in miter by tilting the head 45 degrees. Set the 1600W radial arm saw at the right angle, put your workpiece in the right position, and get to sawing. The built-in LED lighting and shadow line assist you, so you have a clear view of where the 216mm saw blade goes. You don't have to calibrate the laser guide and thanks to the dust bag, your shed stays tidy. Do you have a construction vacuum at home? In that case, you can connect it to the BES700-QS as well.

why didn't I buy this 10 years ago

This thing really does what it promises. Since I got this saw, it has been one of the most used pieces of power tools. Every month there is a job that comes in handy. The device does of course take up some space if you leave it standing on the work table (as I do). It is surprising how easy you can take it with you by "folding it in" with two simple movements: (1) slide it in and screw it (2) pull out the pin to block the plunge movement. And then you just pick them up by the handle on top, with one hand. As with every DIY appliance I know, the dust extraction is far from perfect.

  • Huge sawing power, hardwood or whole packs of laminate are no problem at all
  • Very accurate! Where other saws in this price range are not very accurate, this case is accurate to the degree!
  • The dust bag is a wax nose; more sawdust goes next to it than in.
