Description
The plates of the Remington S8500 are impregnated with argan oil, which adds a nice gloss to your hair after you straighten it. Thanks to the ceramic coating, your hair is protected against the heat of the plates. You can set the temperature between 150°C and 230°C, depending on your hair type. If you have thin hair, you should choose a low temperature. Do you have thicker hair? You can use a hotter setting. This hair straightener has various functions that make it very user-friendly. For example, it warms up in 15 seconds and switches off automatically. You can also lock the plates, so you can store it safely. And to make sure you don't accidentally adjust the temperature while straightening, you can easily lock the temperature as well.

very good pliers!
After having had a chi styling tongs for years, I didn't have it that wide so I finally ended up with these tongs! It is very nice to use, heats up quickly. and my hair becomes a nice shiny style I have very thick bleached hair and the product article said that it would do less for the shine but I have not noticed anything yet I am very satisfied with these tongs!

I was looking for a competitor to the Chi hair straightener and I found it in the Remington. It can style 30 degrees higher than the Chi,...cools faster than the Chi, has bigger plates than the Chi, is cheaper than the Chi and styles just as well (if not better) as the Chi. I'll be done with my curly hair in no time.... The only downside I could find was that the Remington logo on the straightener disappears above 220 degrees. But I don't mind that much. Great little device for little money!
