What's FRITZ! Mesh WiFi and what can you use it for?
Mesh WiFi
In a mesh WiFi network, 2 or more WiFi points are connected to each other continuously. You can spread these points throughout your house to receive WiFi in multiple areas. Use 1 WiFi station per level for coverage throughout your entire house, for example. The FRITZ! Mesh stations work together continuously. This means you'll automatically switch to the strongest WiFi point for your device. You'll no longer have to switch manually.
Stream anywhere
With FRITZ! Mesh WiFi, you can go online anywhere in your house. You can effortlessly stream movies in the bedroom or even in the attic. Because the stations work together, your WiFi is fast everywhere. You don't have to set up anything for this. The mesh WiFi points will automatically select the best connection with your device and with each other. Do you still not have WiFi coverage throughout your entire house? You can easily add an extra WiFi point.
Manage your network from the same environment
With a touch of a button, you can connect an extra FRITZ!Box or FRITZ!Repeater to your current FRITZ!Box router. You can connect them with a touch of a button. From that moment on, you'll have 1 WiFi network that you can manage from your PC or smartphone. You don't need to know much about networks to extend your WiFi network. If you create an extra network for guests, it'll have coverage for your entire house right away too. Useful, if someone stays over.
Extra options
A FRITZ!Box has more options than other routers. For example, this router is a smart home hub, telephone exchange, and network storage in one. You can use these functions throughout the entire house if you connect extra WiFi points. That way, you can control all your smart devices by FRITZ! anywhere in your home. You can also access the network storage in your FRITZ!Box anywhere in your house.
