With a Coolblue Protection Plan, you can cover all the costs that fall outside of the standard 2-year warranty. This way, you can always enjoy your new laptop without worries. If there's something wrong with your laptop in the warranty period, we'll repair it for you. We can't repair it? You'll receive as much CoolblueCredit as a replacement product is worth. We guarantee that. You can choose between 2 packages. There's the Protection Plan and Protection Plan with theft coverage.

Which Protection Plans are there?
Protection Plan
With the extensive Protection Plan, you can insure your laptop for damages. For example, bumps, falling, water damage, or damage due to unintentional wrong usage. Damage that happened abroad is also covered. Report the damage in our stores, via our customer service, or via the online damage form in My Coolblue. We'll make sure that your laptop will be repaired, or you receive the replacement value as CoolblueCredit.
Protection Plan with theft coverage
With the Protection Plan with theft coverage, you're protected from damage as well as theft. After you've filed a police report, you can let our customer service know. You'll receive the current price of the same product or an equivalent replacement product in CoolblueCredit. After that, you can choose a new product yourself.
How does a Protection Plan work?
When you buy a new laptop, you can choose to also buy a Protection Plan. You have to pay a one-time fee for this. The amount depends on the specific laptop you want to insure. With a Coolblue laptop insurance, we arrange everything in the same place. You'll only have contact with Coolblue when you buy it, make a claim, for the repairs, and the completion. This way, we'll help you right away, without a third party.
