When you buy your brand new MacBook, you can choose between 2 types of Backup Plans. With the Protection Plan Damage, your MacBook is insured against damage, even if it was your own fault. The Protection Plan Complete also covers theft. In the insurance policy, you can see what you're insured. If you file a claim, you'll never pay more than your deductible. For repairs, it's 10% of the purchase value. For theft, it's 20%. The maximum deductible is € 300.
