How often should you clean?
Since milk residue builds up quickly and bacteria will grow soon after, you'll have to clean the milk system daily. That way, you won't get ill due to spoilt milk. After you make a milk specialty, the machine will rinse the pipes with water. That happens automatically. Are you not going to use the coffee machine for some time? Thoroughly clean the milk system with the cleaning agent the way that's described in this article.
Step 1: clean the milk system
1: press 'P'. 2: select 'Milk System Cleaning'. 3: press 'Start' to confirm. 4: pour 15ml of Jura milk system cleaner into a container. 5: add 250ml of water. 6: place a container below the coffee spout. 7: remove the milk tube from the milk system and put it in the container with water. 8: press 'Next' and turn the dial a quarter to the left. 9: the milk system is now being cleaned. 10: once the display tells you to, you turn the dial back to stop the rinsing.
Step 2: rinse the milk system
1: empty the container and put it back under the coffee spout. 2: refit the pitcher with fresh water and put the milk tube in it. 3. press 'Continue' and turn the dial a quarter to the left once more. 4: the milk system is now being rinsed. 5: once the display tells you to, you turn the dial back to stop the rinsing. 6: attach the milk tube to the milk system again. 7: the machine is now ready for use.
