Reset in 2 steps
You can reset the Fitbit Sense or Fitbit Versa in 2 ways:
- Soft reset: restart your Fitbit. You keep your data.
- Hard reset: revert your Fitbit to factory setting. Note: all your data is deleted

Reset your Fitbit Sense
Follow the steps from top to bottom and reset your Fitbit Sense or Fitbit Sense 2.
- Step 1: Soft reset. Press and hold the buttons on your Fitbit Sense for 10 seconds. Release the buttons. Does your Fitbit vibrate or do you see the Fitbit logo? It now restarts.
- Step 2: Hard reset. Open Settings on your Fitbit. Go to About and tap Factory settings. The Fitbit is now being reset and your data deleted.
Reset your Fitbit Versa
Follow the steps from top to bottom and reset your Fitbit Versa 4, Fitbit Versa 3, Fitbit Versa 2, or Fitbit Versa.
- Step 1: Soft reset. Press and hold the buttons on your Fitbit Versa for 10 seconds. Release the buttons. Does your Fitbit vibrate or do you see the Fitbit logo? It now restarts.
- Step 2: Hard reset. Open Settings on your Fitbit. Go to About and tap Factory settings. The Fitbit is now being reset and your data deleted.
