How do you choose an iPhone insurance that suits you?
Coolblue iPhone insurances
When buying an iPhone, you can choose an insurance. You take it out for at least 1 month, and it can run up to 5 years. The coverage is always in addition to the 2 years of standard warranty. Ask yourself the following before you choose an insurance:
- Which iPhone insurances are there?
- What's covered?
- Do you want to pay a one-time or monthly fee?

Which iPhone insurances are there?
If you buy your iPhone at Coolblue, you can choose between 2 different insurances. You can choose the Protection Plan and the more extensive Protection Plan with theft coverage. The difference between these 2 insurances is that the Protection Plan with theft coverage also covers theft.
What's covered?
With our Protection Plans, you're insured for more than just manufacturing errors like with the standard warranty. The repair costs are also reimbursed when your iPhone breaks due to wrong use, or when your iPhone gets fall, impact, or water damage. With the Protection Plan with theft coverage, you're also insured for theft.
Do you want to pay a one-time or monthly fee?
The amount you pay differs per iPhone model. The more expensive the model, the higher the amount. You can choose between a one-time payment for a 2-year period, or a 5-year insurance that you can cancel every month. On the product page of your iPhone and during checkout, you'll find the exact amount of the fee. At the store, our expert will tell you. That's because these prices change regularly.
