First impression of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra
When I take the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra out of the box, I notice the large size right away. The screen is truly large. The design of the S9 Ultra is much like that of its predecessor. The only difference is that the cameras on the back are no longer on an island. In the box, there's also a USB-C to USB-C cable and an S Pen Stylus. A charger isn't included, so you have to order one separately.
Extra large and bright screen
I can work comfortably on the large 14.6-inch screen. It allows me to work on drawings in great detail, and I can easily edit my photos. Thanks to the AMOLED screen, the colors stand out when I watch a movie. The high brightness ensures I can watch movies outside as well. It's a bit difficult to hold the tablet with 1 hand, due to the large size and heavier weight. That's why I recommend a cover with a stand, so you don't have to hold in all the time.
4 cameras
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra has the most cameras, compared to the S9 Plus and S9 versions. There are 2 cameras of 13 megapixels on the back. One of them is a wide-angle lens, which I can use to photograph a large building, for example. Personally, I don't use these cameras much because I mostly use the S9 Ultra indoors. I do find the 2 cameras on the front very useful. During video calls, the 12-megapixel cameras display me well.
Useful functions with the S Pen Stylus
The Tab S9 Ultra includes the S Pen Stylus. In my opinion, the stylus works well. It feels like you're holding a regular pen. The stylus allows me to easily sketch and take notes. In the Samsung Notes app, I can quickly turn my notes into typed text. That way, I can share it with others as a PDF file. I can store the stylus magnetically on the back of the tablet. This is also how you charge the stylus.
Conclusion
I'm impressed by the large, water-resistant Tab S9 Ultra. Thanks to the large 14.6-inch size, I can comfortably work on projects with the stylus. On the other hand, it's less easy to bring with me on the go. Thanks to the powerful processor, I can smoothly use more demanding apps and graphic games without the tablet slowing down. The bright AMOLED screen allows me to watch movies and series in high quality. And during video calls, the tablet displays me sharply thanks to the 2 cameras on the front.
