Two weeks ago I received this fridge/freezer combination. I was very pleased to be able to test this device for Review.nl and that turned out very well because I was looking for such a device to add to it, because we regularly struggle with a lack of space to store food. to store and cool.

And this device certainly has space! In terms of capacity it is a relief. It can hold so much! The drawers are also generously sized, not only for the refrigerator section, but also for the freezer section.

During the installation I also used the WiFi functionality. For example, with Samsung's SmartThings app you can monitor all the activities of the device, you can set the number of degrees remotely and, if you have multiple Samsung devices in your home, you can also control this using the app. This also applies to other Smart Home solutions such as those from Philips Hue, for example.

I briefly used the quick cooling and quick freezing options. Energy consumption will then increase somewhat. I wouldn't know whether these options really offer added value, I normally wouldn't have used them myself. I wouldn't miss it if the options weren't there, let me just say.

The fridge freezer combination is large in size, but it is very quiet and I like that. The SmartThings app is nice, but you are almost obliged to have several Samsung devices at home. In my opinion, it is nice to operate everything via an app in the beginning, but in practice I personally don't do much with it myself. The housing of this device is sensitive to small dents. Upon delivery I immediately noticed that there were a number of dents in the device. The delivery service had also seen this and informed me that this may have already happened in the warehouse. Anyway, I think the material of the housing is quite weak and sensitive in terms of look and feel, but the color itself is nice.
