FRITZ!Box routers have a built-in ADSL or cable modem. There's a suitable FRITZ!Box model for any ADSL connection, like VDSL, ADSL2+, and ADSL. The modem on the router effortlessly works together with all Dutch and Belgian ADSL providers. Simply set which provider you have and the modem router will automatically do the rest. If you have a FRITZ!Box router, you don't need a separate modem.

FRITZ!Box combines landline telephony with calling via internet. The FRITZ!Box 7000 series has an integrated DECT base station, suitable for both VoIP and analog telephony. Thanks to VoIP support, you can easily make free internet phone calls. If internet calling isn't available, it'll automatically switch to landline telephony. Thanks to the integrated answering machine, messages are automatically forwarded to your email.

Thanks to the integrated media server, you can access your multimedia files from any device in your home network. There are various ways of sharing files with the media server. The easiest way is to connect a USB flash drive or external hard drive with music and movies to your FRITZ!Box. Thanks to the media server, you can easily stream movies and music to any device in your network.

With a FRITZ! powerline adapter, you can reroute the internet to any part of the house through the power socket. Lead it to a different floor, or just to the other side of the room. You don't need to lay any cables or drill any holes. The FRITZ!Powerline 540E series can also be used as WiFi repeater, and it also measures the energy consumption of connected devices.
