Product description
With the DJI Air 3S + Remote Controller, you can record razor-sharp and bright drone footage. You can control your drone with the included RC-N3 remote. You can place your smartphone in the phone mount and follow the drone footage live. This way, you know exactly where you're flying. The Air 3S has 2 lenses. The 24mm wide-angle lens has a light-sensitive 1-inch image sensor. This allows you to record bright footage with lots of details. That's useful if you're flying at twilight. With the second 70mm lens, you can zoom in on subjects in the distance. For example, you can record a sheep in a meadow. You can fly the drone for 45 minutes with a fully-charged battery.
Image qualityThanks to the double lenses, the Air S3 is versatile in use. You can make both wide-angle and zoomed-in recordings. The 24mm lens has a large maximum aperture of f/1.8, so it captures a lot of light. Combined with the large 1-inch image sensor, this ensures bright footage. The 70mm zoom lens has a 1/1.3 sensor and f/2.8 aperture. You can record HDR footage with a large dynamic range of 14 stops. This way, you can capture more details in the light and dark parts of the subject. This creates realistic and colorful images.
SensorsThe drone has 360-degree obstacle detection sensors. This means that the drone recognizes and avoids obstacles from all sides. This way, you won't bump into obstacles as fast when you're flying between the trees, for example. Thanks to the LiDAR sensors at the front of the drone, you can fly extra safely. The drone can measure the distance to certain objects with lasers, so it can avoid them more accurately. This is mostly useful when it's dark.
Laws and regulationsFrom 2021 onward, new European drone regulations apply. This means that drone pilots must register themselves if they own a drone that weighs more than 250g or has a camera. They'll receive an operating number that needs to be attached to your drone and has to be clearly visible. This drone weighs more than 500g, so you need a basic drone course for this.
