WiFi on the camping
Take your own network with mobile wifi
Can't even send a chat message with the weak WiFi signal of the campsite? Or want internet on a campsite without WiFi? Mobile WiFi is the solution. With a MiFi router, you can create your own WiFi from a 4G signal.
- A MiFi router doesn't need a plug, as they last 10 hours on 1 battery charge on average.
- Because you set up your own connection, you have a fast and secure network and can connect multiple devices.
- Your network is stable enough. You can even watch series on the campsite.
- To use a MiFi router, you need a separate SIM card with a large data bundle that's valid on your holiday destination.
What's MiFi?
MiFi stands for mobile WiFi, so a mobile router also works on the go. Are you going camping abroad for a longer period of time? Use a prepaid data SIM card from a local provider, but be careful not to use too much data. Because you set up your own network with a MiFi router, you share the network with multiple devices.
Choose the right spot on the campsite
Without a MiFi router, there's not much you can do if you're already on the campsite. What you can do, is choose the best spot for your camper or tent. Choose a central spot on the campsite, as you'll get the best signal there. Many campsites have multiple satellites. If you camp next to one, you'll have a stronger signal.
