We've listed what you can use the 3 attachments for. It's important to use the attachments for the right preparation. That way, you won't damage the attachments.
- Tip 1. Use the balloon whisk for whisking
- Tip 2. Use the dough hook for kneading
- Tip 3. Use the mixing hook for mixing
Use the balloon whisk for whisking
Use the balloon whisk for whisking airy mixtures. This attachment whisks air into cream or egg whites thanks to its balloon shape. That's why it's great for whipped cream or meringue. You can also use it for thin batter, such as for biscuit.
Tip 2: use the dough hook for kneading
Do you want to knead dough for bread, pizza, or pie? You can use the dough hook for heavy, thick (yeast)dough. The spiral shape prevents the dough from crawling up into the dough hook while kneading. The coating of the attachments prevents the mixture from sticking. When all the ingredients are mixed together, you just make a ball out of it.
Tip 3: use the mixing hook for mixing
The mixing hook is suitable for mixing a smooth, lump-free batter. You can use this attachment, which is also called a 'flat mixing hook' sometimes, for thin cake or pancake batter. You can also use the mixing hook for cheesecake or pie filling.
