What is Google Home and what can you use it for?
How do you use Google Home?
You can use Google Home with the app with the same name. You can download it in the Play Store. You can set up all your smart devices here. Then, you can control all your devices via voice commands. You do need smart hubs for this, such as Google Nest Hub and the Google Audio. Read below where you place these hubs, so you can get the most out of your Google Home.
Google Home app
With the Google Home app, you can control all your smart devices. In this app, you can find an overview of all your smart devices and adjust the settings. You can set your routines and adjust your commands. This way, you can choose what you say to start a certain command. For example, you can turn on the television downstairs, while you keep the other televisions turned off.
Google Home routines
With Google Home, you can automate your smart products when you set routines. These are fixed moments in a day when Google Home performs commands. For example, your lights turn on automatically when you need to wake up. Or your thermostat is turned off on days when you work at the office, according to your Google Calendar. You can also set triggers in the routine menu. For example, the light in the hallway turns on when someone rings your smart doorbell.
Google Home commands
With Google Home, you can control your smart devices with voice commands. You can also connect these commands to each other, so they happen at the same time. This way, you can give the Google Home multiple commands in 1 sentence. For example, you can turn on nice music and turn on all lights with a warm color. You can do all this at the same time with the same voice command, such as 'Hey Google, it's time for dinner'.
