What's DJI AirSense?

DJI AirSense is a technology with which your DJI drone detects oncoming air traffic. Thanks to this technology, you prevent collisions and other dangerous situations during your flight. Commercial airplanes send out ADS-B signals that your drone picks up. Is there any air traffic that might come close to your drone? You'll see a notification in the DJI Fly App or on the display of your remote. This way, you can change course in time, or let your drone descend or land if necessary.

The AirSense technology was introduced by DJI in 2020 during the launch of the DJI Mavic Air 2. Since then, this technology was built into all DJI drones that weigh more than 250g. With these drones, you'll get a warning for approaching air traffic in time. The airspace get busier and busier with drones and other air traffic. Thanks to this technology, the airspace stays safe.
