The Nespresso Vertuo is the successor of the Nespresso Original. You can make 2 different coffees with the Original, but the Vertuo allows you to prepare 5 different coffee sizes. With one touch of a button, you can make a 40 to 80ml espresso, a 150ml gran lungo, and a 230ml mug. The Vertuo Next adds another carafe of 535ml. Each cup size has a different capsule to ensure the correct ratio. The Nespresso coffee machine adds a creamy, soft crema as the finishing touch.

Each coffee capsule has a unique barcode that the machines uses to make a coffee with the right ratio. The Vertuo uses the barcode to automatically select the right amount of water, temperature, and rotation speed of the capsule. The capsule rotates at a high speed, so much flavor will be released.

The coffee machine uses Centrifusion technology to make a cup of coffee. It adds hot water to the capsule and the capsule rotates quickly in the coffee machine. This extracts the flavors even better and gives you a thick, creamy crema on the coffee. This technique also works well for larger coffees.

Like to drink a cappuccino or latte macchiato? With some Vertuo models, you can easily prepare milk specialties. The Vertuo Creatista has an automatic steam wand. The coffee machine froths milk for you. Simply fill the pitcher with milk and choose from different settings for milk specialties according to your liking. The Nespresso Lattissima has a removable milk reservoir. Fill the reservoir with your favorite milk and attach it back to the device. You can then make a cup of coffee with milk foam at the touch of a button.
