What are flexible cooking zones?

Some induction cooktops have a flexible cooking zone. These are 2 separate cooking zones which you can connect together, so they form 1 large cooking zone. You can use this long cooking zone for large pans or grill plates, for example. You can read what flexible cooking zones are exactly here.

What are flexible cooking zones

Flexible cooking zones

You can use a flexible cooking zone as 1 large zone or 2 separate cooking zones. If you only use regular pans, you don't have to connect the cooking zones. The cooktop only uses the surface of your pan. It doesn't heat up the area around it. This way, you always use the right amount of energy. Do you want to use a roasting pan or grill plate? Connect the 2 zones in this case, so you can use 1 large cooking zone.

Grills for induction

The advantage of a flexible cooking zone is that your can create room for a grill plate. You can use special grill plates for induction to prepare various meals. You can give your zucchinis and bell peppers those characteristic grill marks and easily sear a steak.
