We recommend you to clean the separate parts daily and to thoroughly clean the milk system once per week. That way, you can continue to enjoy good milk foam and remove milk rests from your coffee machine. Use the Durgol milk system cleaner for this. You can measure the right amount with the dosing lid.
Step 1: prepare the cleaning
- Press the button with the cogwheel to go to the settings.
- Choose 'Maintenance' and press 'OK'.
- Go to 'Clean milk system' and press 'OK' twice.
- Grab the milk reservoir and remove the lid.
- Pour 25ml of milk cleaner into the milk reservoir and add 250ml of tap water.
- Place the lid back on the milk reservoir.
- Make sure the milk tube is properly attach to the milk reservoir and in the coffee machine.
- Place a 600ml container under the coffee outlet.
Step 2: clean the milk system
- Press 'OK' to start the cleaning.
- The milk system will now start to rinse.
- Empty the container when the machine is done rinsing.
- Disconnect the milk tube from the machine and properly rinse the milk reservoir with water.
- Fill the milk reservoir with 350ml water and put the lid back.
- Connect the milk tube to the coffee machine again and place the container back under the coffee outlet.
Step 3: rinse the milk system
- Press 'OK' to start the next rinse.
- The milk system will now rinse with just water.
- Empty the container when the machine has finished rinsing.
- Disconnect the milk tube from the machine and properly rinse the milk reservoir with water.
- Press 'OK'.
- The milk system will now have been cleaned successfully.
