How do you solve issues with your electric shaver?
Solve problems with your electric shaver
Did your shaver head break, does your electric shaver refuse to turn on, or is the result not smooth enough? Follow the tips below.
- Tip 1. Replace the shaver head.
- Tip 2. Check the travel lock.
- Tip 3. Check the shaving technique of the rotating head.
- Tip 4. Check the shaving technique of the foil system.
Tip 1: replace the shaver head
Is your shaver head defect or broken? In that case, we recommend replacing the shaver head. These are often available separately. For a hygienic and smooth shaving result, you should replace the shaver head after 1 to 2 years of shaving.
Tip 2: check the travel lock
Do you have a Braun electric shaver and does it refuse to turn on? This is often because the travel lock is activated. Press the on/off switch for 3 seconds and your Braun electric shaver will be unlocked.
Tip 3: check the shaving technique of the rotating head
Do you use a electric shaver with a rotating head and does it not provide the smooth shaving result you were hoping for? First, check if the blades are properly cleaned. Next, wash your skin with lukewarm water and dry it. Place the shaver head on your skin and move in small circles over your face. Don't apply any pressure and carefully move over the same place a couple of times in a row if you don't get all of the hairs the first time. Still didn't get the result you want? Replace the shaver head.
Tip 4: check the shaving technique of the foil system
Can't get the smooth result you were hoping for with your electric shaver with shaver foil? First, check if all of the blades are properly cleaned. Next, wash your skin with lukewarm water and dry it. Are you shaving a long beard? Trim it first. Place the shaver head against your cheek and move the device up and down in a straight line. Divide the pressure and let the shaver do the work. Still didn't get a smooth result? Replace the shaver head.
