How do you get your Krups EA8150 and EA8178 ready for use?

We'll show you how to easily and quickly clean your Krups fully automatic coffee machine in 3 steps. We'll walk through these steps with you:

• Step 1. Plug in the machine
• Step 2. Install the water filter
• Step 3. Rinse the machine

You need:

• Coffee beans
• 600ml container
• Water filter

1. Plug the connector in the socket.
2. Remove the water tank from the coffee machine and fill it with fresh water.
3. Replace the full water tank.
4. Lift the lid of the bean hopper and fill the container with coffee beans. Then put the lid back on.
5. Press the 'on/off' button to switch on the machine.
6. The machine heats up right away.
7. Place a container of at least 600nl under the coffee outlet and steam wand. Press 'start'.
8. The coffee machine rinses for 2 minutes. Once the coffee recipe menu appears, it's done rinsing.
9. Remove the container and empty it into the sink.

1. Remove the water tank from the coffee machine.
2. Empty it into the sink
3. Take out the water filter.
4. Turn the date on the water filter 2 months ahead with the round disc.
5. Place the included attachment on the water filter and screw the water filter into its seat.
6. Bend the attachment sideways to snap it off the water filter.
7. Fill the water tank and place it back in the coffee machine.

1. Press the gear button to access the settings.
2. Press the arrows until you reach the circular arrow icon.
3. Confirm rinsing with 'start'.
4. Place an empty 600ml container under the steam wand.
5. The steam wand rinses briefly.
6. Once you see the start menu, the installation is complete.
7. Remove the container and empty it into the sink.
8. Your Krups coffee machine is now ready for use.
