Find the model number via settings

Navigate to Settings and click 'General'

Choose 'About'

Tap the code behind 'Model Number'

The model number is now visible
For the right model number, you go to your device settings.
- Tab 'General' in the Settings app.
- Now choose 'Info'.
- In this overview, you can find the model name of your iPhone. Next to 'Model Number', you'll see the part number that starts with an M.
- Tap the part number and the model number will appear, starting with an A.
Find the model number on the casing

The model number in the slot for the SIM card holder.

The model number on the back of the device
You can also find the model number on the device itself. The location of the model number can differ per device.
- For all iPhone 8 models and newer, the model number is indicated on the slot for the SIM card holder. To check it, you remove your SIM card from the device and shine a flashlight or some other light source into the slot.
- For the iPhone 7 and older, the model number is indicated on the back of the device in small letters.
