First impression of the Sony A7C
At first glance, the design of the Sony A7C looks like the models of the Sony A6000 series. That's because of the compact design of the camera. The body feels light when I hold it with 1 hand, and I can easily reach the buttons. Sony has finally added a screen that you can tilt horizontally to an A7 mirrorless camera. That's useful to record vlogs, and you can take photos from different angles.
High image quality in different light situations
I already stated that the A7C has a large full-frame sensor. This makes the camera suitable for use during the day and night. In the video above from our vlogger Martijn, you can see the image quality of the camera in the dark. He recorded it with the Sony Zeiss 24-70mm lens. I also try the cameras in the evening and the results are sharp. It's very easy to take photos by hand.
Suitable for vlogging
The A7C is the first camera in this series with a horizontally tiltable screen. In combination with the compact design and low weight, I think it's a suitable vlog camera. It's not hard for me to hold the camera with 1 hand. Thanks to the built-in image stabilization, I can still record stable vlogs. Don't you like to record by hand when you vlog? Touchscreen controls
By tapping the touchscreen, I can set a focus point. I can't navigate the menu via the touchscreen. Because the body is so compact, I also have less grip. I can imagine that's not very convenient for people with larger hands. I do miss a third dial at the front of this camera. The camera only has a dial for the shutter speed and the aperture.
Fast autofocus system with tracking
The A7C has a real-time autofocus system with a tracking function. I notice that the camera detects every movement of your subject. I tried this at home by taking a photo of my rabbit, because he moves around a lot. The camera recognizes the eyes of my rabbit and focuses on them automatically. This way, you can be sure the focus point is in the right spot. You can take up to 10 photos per second, up to 115 RAW photos. That's ideal for activity moments.

This compact camera provides a lot of quality. You can record sharp images with this full-frame sensor, even during the night. I think the A7C is suitable for vloggers, thanks to the tiltable screen and compact design. The menu button isn't in the most ideal spot and there's not extra dial at the front. This way, you can't control is as fast.
