When I take the Cookeo Touch out of the box, I can easily lift it by the 2 handles. The multicooker is compact and not too heavy. I directly notice the sleek design and the large touchscreen. Useful, because you can clearly see the photos and videos on the screen. You can open and lock the lid by twisting the handle. Besides the multicooker, I also receive a steam basket.

In the Cookeo Touch, I prepare an Indian stew. The app tells me which ingredients I need for the dish. When I've cut everything into pieces, I add it to the pan. I choose the option 'pressure cook'. Unfortunately, you can't set a temperature or timer with the manual mode. The screen also doesn't always respond when you touch it. That's a bummer. After 1.5 hours of simmering, the meet comes out nice and tender. Exactly what I was hoping for.

The inner pan has a 6L capacity. Thanks to this, you can easily prepare a dish for up to 6 people. The multicooker has 6 different settings, fast cook, steam, roast, stew, keep warm, and heat up. What I really like is that you can also keep dishes warm in a multicooker. Useful, because your guests can still enjoy a hot meal if they show up a little later.

In the online recipe book of the screen, you can find over 250 different dishes. When you picked a dish, you'll see every step via photos and videos. I find this useful, because you're sure you don't miss a step while cooking. You also have the option to save your favorite recipes. That way, you'll never have to go through all the recipes to find your favorite dish. In the accompanying app, you can find more recipes for even more inspiration.

You can set the Cookeo Touch entirely according to your own liking. You can select the option for starter or dessert, how many people there will be, and how much time you have. Nice, because the multicooker will do at least half of the work for you. Do you have ingredients in the fridge that you need to use today? The multicooker can come up with a dish based on the ingredients you enter in the app. Moulinex definitely gets points for this, because you can prevent food waste that way.

You can easily connect the accompanying Cookeo Touch app to the multicooker. Keep in mind that you connect the multicooker to the same WiFi network as your mobile phone. In the app, you can find more dishes that you send directly to your Cookeo Touch. The cooker will select the right settings before you start cooking. I find it especially useful that I can keep an eye on the cooking process remotely via the app. I can see how long the dish has been simmering for in the app.
