First impression
The moment I open the box, the futuristic design of this stick vacuum catches my eye. What a beautiful vacuum. When I unpack all parts and place them next to each other, I see the following:

Well begun is half done
I was afraid it would be a lot of work to assemble the vacuum when I unpacked it, but it's actually very easy. I can easily click the different parts together and I can start vacuuming within no time. Before I start, I have to fully charge the vacuum. In the manual, I read that this is required to calibrate the battery. It's an important step. The battery is fully charged in 4 hours and the stick vacuum is ready for use after that.
Get started
The time has finally come. I turn on the vacuum, set my preferred language, and I see the remaining battery life appear on the LCD display. More than 60 minutes in eco mode, very decent. I'm pleased with the suction power in this setting. It's also very easy to maneuver. The Torque floor attachment should automatically adjust the suction power to the surface. I effortlessly slide from my laminate to my short-pile carpet and I notice the difference. The motor starts to make a little more noise and the battery life decreases. Nice!
Different brushes
Torque brush
I have both laminate and low-pile carpet at home. This means that I often switch between both brushes. The Torque brush is ideal for vacuuming carpet, thanks to the rotating brushes that penetrate deep into the fibers of the carpet. In addition, this automatic floor attachment automatically adjusts the suction power. One less thing to worry about.
Fluffy brush
The Fluffy brush is a soft floor attachment. With this brush, I vacuum my laminate without worrying about scratches. This floor attachment is ideal for vacuuming delicate, hard floors.
Detachable battery
I was happy to hear that the new V11 line has a detachable battery. This isn't necessary for my small apartment, but it's very nice to be able to change the battery in larger households. This way, you double the battery life from 60 to 120 minutes on the lowest setting. I detach the battery with a click, to see how it feels. Like other Dyson vacuums, it's very easy to do.

Conclusion
I'm very excited about the Dyson V11 Absolute Extra. It's an extensive model in terms of accessories and possibilities, which makes it suitable for any cleaning job. In combination with the detachable battery, the Dyson V11 Extra Absolute can replace your canister vacuum in my opinion. The only disadvantage is that it doesn't have parking mode and doesn't come with a charging dock. But you can't have it all. The V11 Absolute Extra Pro does include a charging dock.
