The 10.9-inch screen is just as bright as the iPad (2020). The screen of the iPad Air (2020) is larger and has more technologies. It has a wider color representation (P3) and True Tone. This makes colors look richer and more natural. The display is completely laminated. This means that the screen has both a grease-repelling coating and an anti-glare coating. That way, you won't be bothered by your own reflection as much.

The iPad (2020) has the A12 Bionic chip. This is the same processor as in the iPhone Xs. The A12 chip is fast enough for multitasking. You mainly notice this with more demanding apps or 3D games. That's why the iPad (2020) is less suitable for photo and video editing.

The iPad Air (2020) has the powerful A14 Bionic chip. This is the same chip as in all the iPhone 12 models. You can multitask without hiccups with this chip. Both demanding and less demanding apps open very fast and run effortlessly. You can switch between apps more quickly than with the iPad (2020). That's because of the extra 1GB RAM. This makes the iPad Air (2020) also suitable for creative people who like to work with Adobe apps, for example.

Apple iPad (2020): Lightning connector, Apple Pencil, and Smart Keyboard
Apple iPad has the well-known Lightning connector. You can connect a charging cable or a Lightning to SD card reader, for example.
