Want to move freely while you listen?
With Bluetooth earbuds, you can listen to music wirelessly. Earbuds with Bluetooth are available in 2 versions, wireless and fully wireless. With wireless earbuds, there's still a cable in your neck. With fully wireless earbuds, all you have are 2 separate earbuds in your ears.
Are you often bothered by ambient noise?
When you're on the go, you'll bothered by ambient noise. If it really bothers you, choose earbuds with noise canceling. Noise canceling ensures that annoying ambient noise and white noise are reduced. Keep in mind that noise-canceling headphones reduce ambient noise better than noise-canceling earbuds.
Want to determine how your music sounds yourself?
Some earbuds brands have an accompanying app that allows you to adjust the sound via an equalizer. That way, you can listen to music the way you want to.
Want to make calls with the earbuds?
We don't recommend buying earbuds to make phone calls often. The quality of the microphone is often not good enough to be clearly audible. If you do make many phone calls, we recommend a Bluetooth headset.
Want to work out with the earbuds as well?
If you plan on working out with the earbuds, you have to check the waterproofness. Waterproof earbuds have an IPX rating. The higher the number, the better the product can withstand water.
Do you commute or have long working days?
If you have a long journey ahead of you, it's important to look at the battery life. If you're on the go a lot, you definitely need a long battery life.
