Tip 1: connect to your phone

Beats with smartphone

If you have wireless Beats earbuds, you'll have to connect them to your smartphone via Bluetooth. In the case of fully wireless Beats earbuds, you open the case to activate pairing mode. If you have earbuds that have a wire running behind your neck, you turn them on with the on/off button. In the article below, you can read how to connect the earbuds to your smartphone.

Tip 2: put in your earbuds

Tip 2: put in your earbuds

Not all Beats earbuds fit in or around your ears in the same way. For example, the Powerbeats have an ear hook and the Beats Studio buds don't. You can read the correct way to put your earbuds in your ear in the manual of your product.

Tip 3: make sure you have a good connection

Earbuds in ear

It's important that the connection between the earbuds and the playback device is stable. If it's not, the sound will stutter. In that case, you can try the following:

  • Turn off all other Bluetooth devices nearby.
  • Don't stand too close to appliances like microwaves and fridges, since these interfere with the Bluetooth signal.
  • Keep your smartphone in your hands or front pocket, don't put it in your bag or back pocket.

If this doesn't help, reset the earbuds. You can read how to do this in the manual of your product.
