Which electric heater suits your situation?

Are you looking for an electric heater, but don't know which one suits the room best? You'll want a silent heater in the bedroom and a model that heats up quickly in the garage. In this article, we'll explain which heater to use in which room.

Living room

Living room

All electric heaters from our assortment are suitable for your living room. Which heater suits you best depends on the size of the room and your wishes. Want it to heat up quickly and isn't noise an issue? Choose a fan heater. If you want to heat the room silently, choose a convector heater or infrared heater. A convector heater slowly heats the air. An infrared heater heats people and objects instead of the air. This means that you'll be able to feel the heat right away.

Bedroom or study

Bedroom

In your bedroom, you'll want an electric heater that produces little noise. That's why convector heaters and infrared heaters are suitable for your bedroom. It's best to mount the electric heater to the wall, so you don't accidentally knock it over. Want to place the heater on the floor? Choose an electric heater with tip-over and overheating protection. You can also use these electric heaters in your study, so you can work without any distractions.

Bathroom

Bathroom heater

A bathroom heater is waterproof, so you can use it safely in a damp room. That's why bathroom heaters have an IP certification of at least IPX4. It's also important that you mount a bathroom heater to the wall, so you don't accidentally knock it over. Even with an IP certification, you're not allowed to place an electric heater everywhere in the bathroom. That's why you should always check the manual to see where you can mount the heater in the bathroom.

Garage or workshop

Construction heater

It's important that a garage heater heats up quickly, because you're often only in your workshop for a short time. Choose a fan heater or infrared heater for in your garage. A fan heater blows warm air over your workshop, so you can do your job with warm hands. Is your garage or workshop poorly insulated and draughty? An infrared heater is the best choice. This type of heater provides local heat and heats people and objects instead of the entire room.
